Unexpected Changes!

Before

It's been very interesting working through the transition of restaurant to bar and event space. Thankfully I live in the building and can work on these projects practically 24/7 or whenever my insomnia hits me. Lately, with the help of our wonderful friends and incredible sound technicians Chuck and Nick, and with the addition of a fully set up professional sound system, we have been able to book bigger bands. It's exciting to see the schedule... also intimidating.

So to the changes, we learned that screaming at our customers just isn't classy. And we tried to be classy broads whenever we can.🫰So how do we not take away from our aesthetic but still solve a problem?

We'll see if it works and we'll see if it looks like crap when it's all done. We installed a floating glass wall of doors. My wonderful parents donated these gorgeous doors to me years ago and they've been sitting in storage waiting for a project. If you've been to Fuego you know I already have one wall built to separate our back area from the event space with these. It also has been an incredible sound barrier.

We wanted something fluid and slightly unobstructive while allowing us and our customers to be able to still view each other. It's amazing how much protection we get from the sound barrier now. Alex and I did a sound test yesterday and we're amazed it went as well as we hoped. It also serves a double purpose for crowd control and being able to utilize our stanchions in different areas. So for now problem solved.

We have a lot of great bands on the books. We hope that you get a chance to stop by and see our new projects.
