Before It's been very interesting working through the transition of restaurant to bar and event space. Thankfully I live in the building and can work on these projects practically 24/7 or whenever my insomnia hits me. Lately, with the help of our wonderful friends and incredible sound technicians Chuck and Nick, and with the addition of a fully set up professional sound system, we have been able to book bigger bands. It's exciting to see the schedule... also intimidating. So

Anyone who knows me, knows my kid. Alexandria is a feisty, boisterous, quirky, loving woman-child lol who doesn't let me get away with anything. She's a gemini and boy is she. Just now, she came in to Fuego to help me with a project, demanded coffee and proceeded to "stab" me with baby knives. I know the demon needs to be fed first and then coaxed with promises of treats and not too much work for a Monday. And thank God I get to spend my Monday with her. Alex is my right hand

It's interesting being a workaholic with an overactive imagination. Thankfully, I live and work in the same building and can start my day at any time day or night (hello 4 AM Cafe Americano). I call it casino syndrome. Fuego is always slightly dark and my living space is the same. Forget about days that are gloomy. How do I cope? I start dreaming how to make the space better for you, the consumer. Also, how would I feel coming here seeing a band or what would my expectations

Small business is a grind no matter how much you prepare for every detail. It is the constant balance of working your ass off and upgrades to your business. Meanwhile, you have to quickly realize your short comings and find the balance. Recently we took the plunge and updated our Great Room stage and sound system. All professional equipment.
